Its hardware supports flight-control applications and integration with external sensors, telemetry systems and companion computers.

Designed for Betaflight, ArduPilot, PX4 and INAV, the controller offers flexibility across different flight-control environments. Available interfaces and functions depend on the selected firmware, board target and configuration.

Key Features

Two ICM-42688-P IMUs, each with a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer.

10 motor or servo outputs, with bidirectional DShot support on S1–S8.

Seven UARTs plus CAN, I2C, SPI expansion and four programmable I/O ports.

Analog video connectivity and a dedicated interface for DJI O3/O4 systems.

microSD logging, USB Type-C and ST-LINK debugging access.

3S–6S LiPo input with separate 5 V / 3 A and 10 V / 3 A BEC outputs.

Connectivity and Expansion

Motor and Servo Control

Ten outputs (S1–S10) support motor and servo applications. S1–S8 support bidirectional DShot with compatible ESCs and firmware; S9–S10 provide additional PWM outputs. Two ESC connector groups (M1–M4 and M5–M8) provide motor signals, power connections and current-sensing connections for multi-motor installations.

Navigation and Communication

Seven UART interfaces provide connectivity for compatible receivers, GPS modules, telemetry radios and companion computers. CAN, I2C and SPI interfaces provide expansion options for navigation sensors, range sensors and other supported devices. Peripheral support depends on electrical compatibility and firmware drivers.

Video and Peripheral Power

Analog camera input and VTX output support analog FPV systems. A dedicated DJI interface provides connectivity for O3/O4 video systems. Separate 5 V / 3 A and 10 V / 3 A BEC outputs power compatible peripherals; connector pin assignments and power requirements must match the connected device.

Programmable Inputs and Outputs

Four programmable I/O ports (IO1–IO4) support custom input and output functions. Dedicated pads support a buzzer and WS2812 LEDs. Relays, pumps, valves and other loads can be controlled through suitable external driver circuits.

Dual ICM 42688 P IMUs

The two ICM-42688-P 6-axis inertial sensors provide separate sources of angular-rate and acceleration data for attitude estimation and sensor monitoring. Use of both sensors, fault detection and sensor switching depend on the flight-control firmware and its configuration.

Companion Computer Integration

The H743 V1 can serve as the flight-control layer in a system that includes a Raspberry Pi or NVIDIA Jetson companion computer. With compatible firmware and communication software, a companion computer can process camera or sensor data and exchange mission commands and telemetry with the flight controller.

This provides a development platform for computer vision, AI-assisted navigation, autonomous mission research and custom payload integration. These capabilities require additional hardware, application software and system validation.

Applications

FPV and multirotor platforms • UAS research and prototyping • Sensor and payload integration • Companion-computer development • Custom autonomous-system experiments

Technical Specifications

Specification

Openflyworld H743 V1

Main MCU

STM32H743

Inertial sensors

2 × ICM-42688-P 6-axis IMUs

Firmware platforms

Betaflight / ArduPilot / PX4 / INAV

Motor and servo outputs

10 channels, S1–S10

Bidirectional DShot

S1–S8, with compatible firmware and ESCs

ESC connectors

2 groups, M1–M4 and M5–M8

UART

7 interfaces

CAN

1 interface

I2C

1 interface

SPI expansion

1 reserved interface

Programmable I/O

4 ports, IO1–IO4

Storage

microSD card slot

Analog video

1 camera input and 1 VTX output

Digital video

Dedicated DJI O3/O4 interface

Peripheral pads

Buzzer and WS2812 LEDs

Regulated power outputs

5 V / 3 A and 10 V / 3 A

Battery input

3S–6S LiPo

USB

USB Type-C

Debug access

ST-LINK pads

Mounting hole spacing

30.5 mm

Interface availability, logging and peripheral functions depend on firmware support and configuration.
